was epic. Hitsugaya was awesome in both the current and flashback scenes and also the action nearing the end of the movie was done superbly too (albeit without any new pretty characters like Ilforte or Findor, which was slightly disappointing).

WARNING: SLIGHT (GENERIC, NO PLOT DATA INFO, CHARACTER NAMES ONLY) SPOILERS AHEAD.


Paku-sama (seiyu of Hitsugaya) did a wonderful job of doing Hitsugaya's voice especially in his academy days where it sounded higher but still distinctly male (for those who do not already know, Romi Paku is a woman), as compared to me who already sound quite feminine when talking in the voice of any character higher than Szayel.

Also, I think most of the drawings were done by Kubo-sama himself instead of hired workers which was done in the first movie and in the fillers, which would make the characters seem weird at times. In this movie, all character appearances were consistent and there were also some spectacular 3D effects put in too even for simple things like the 1st division office doors closing when the captains' emergency meeting started.

Byakuya also had a lot of action scenes and talked quite a fair bit too.
^{He looked very funny when he patted the ice at the crime scene whilst investigating - the way he did it was out of his usual character.}

However, Kyoraku's fight with Kusaka was unfortunately short-lived and ended abruptly with him in the hospital without any swordfighting scenes.

Also, when Hitsugaya left for his little journey, the scenery reminded me of Europe (windmills and low bridges with a European touch) so I had thought How did Hitsugaya walk so far from Ichigo's house to EUROPE? so that is an area for slight improvement.

Lastly, no, Hitsugaya never cried at all in the movie though he was very close to doing so thrice.

If you still have any doubts about buying, please do. That ($20 or so) is definitely worth it.
